We've Moved!
My sister and I unfortunately do not live next door to eachother, or in the same state for that matter, so we had to make the hard decision to go our separate ways. Don't worry! We are still doing what we love, just on different websites now:

What is the essence of family?--Games, reading, hobbies, make believe, individuals coming together for a beautiful sunset.  That what makes the Allen family, and it was a joy to be a part of it for one night.

I had the honor of taking these photos
 while surrounded by the essence of her life;
children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Her joy could not be more natural.

This boy is always excited about something.
Whether the smile is on his face or just showing in his eyes,
he is glowing with the essence of innocence and joy.

These kids were so excited to hold there new little brother so close.
They were so excited to get to help and hold on to him tight.
For being so small, they undoubtedly know that family is the essence of life.

i remembered why i love photography as i photographed my cousins family.  they are a super close family and their children have so much life and joy.  it was so fun to try and capture the essence of each family member.   and eventhough they are each so different, together, they are picture perfect.
